I have a 1990 MK2 Golf GTI, finished in tornado red, and originally it started with the 1.8 8v, but It was swapped out with a 2.0 16v from the mk3 gti. The car has gone through a fair amount of work, bared metal respray on the front end, fully rebuilt and upgraded engine, now 2.2, big cam and twin webber carbs. Full custom exhaust, and it Makes just shy of 210 now, very fun, good noises. Interior wise I have full leather recaros, mono heritage wheel, and cae shifter. Car is sat on coilovers, still static top mounts, bigger brakes. Last few years it has been on some rs’ which its picture on. I may bring them with me as well! But I had just built a set of BBS Rf’s for the car, along with turbo fans. Also managed to source myself a double Step, genuine hella rear spoiler!
